The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc., will begin providing Family Planning Services to patients on an “every other week” basis at the Cheektowaga health center located at 934 Cleveland Dr, Buffalo, NY 14225; and at the Lockport health center located at 38 Heritage Ct, Lockport, NY 14094.
- Beginning Thurs., Sept. 8, 2022, CHCB, Inc. Family Planning Services providers will see
Cheektowaga patients every other week from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Beginning Mon., Sept. 12, 2022, Family Planning Services providers will see Lockport
patients every other week from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Family Planning Program
The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. (CHCB, Inc.) is dedicated to offering caring, non-judgmental, and confidential family planning services to low-income teens, women, men, and LGBTQIA+.

Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. Family Planning Services patients can also access a host of preventive services including:

- Birth Control – All FDA-approved methods, including Implants & IUDs, are available onsite
- Pregnancy Testing & Options Counseling
- STI Testing & Treatment
- Rapid HIV Testing & Prevention Counseling
- Treatment of Vaginal Infections
- Well-woman Exams & Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening
- Preconception Care to help you plan for a healthy pregnancy
- Infertility Screening
- Screenings for depression, alcohol and tobacco use, and domestic violence
Family Planning Benefit Program
CHCB, Inc. also offers a Family Planning Benefit Program for those without health insurance to reduce barriers to care.
“We respect and protect the dignity of all patients,” said Marna Taylor. “All services are voluntary, and no referrals are required. Individuals under the age of 18 years old can get confidential testing and treatment for STIs including HIV and birth control without a parent and/or guardian consent.”
Pre-Natal Care Services
The Community Health Center of Niagara and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) has also formed a partnership to increase obstetrical care, including prenatal care, labor and delivery services, postpartum visits, and advanced gynecological services to CHCB, Inc. patients visiting the Family Planning Clinic at the Community Health Center of Niagara (CHCN) located at 2715 Highland Ave. Niagara Falls, NY 14305.
Pregnant women can receive prenatal care at CHCN for approximately 24-26 weeks before being transferred to NFMMC for the remainder of the pregnancy to enable additional fetal monitoring and ultrasound services.
NFMMC obstetricians provide services at CHCN every other Tuesday for a four-hour session that alternates from 8 a.m. to Noon or from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
